Single Vision

Single vision lenses are prescribed if you need correction for one field of vision: either for distance, intermediate (computer), or items up close (near vision). Single vision has the same optical focal point or correction over the entire area of the lens.

Progressive

Progressive lenses continuously increase in power as you look through lower portions of the lenses.  In general, the top is for looking at distant objects, middle is for computer use, and bottom is for reading. There is no visible line as compared with traditional bifocals or trifocals.

Anti-reflective

An anti-reflective (AR) coating eliminates glare from both the front and back of your lenses, reducing eye strain and making the lenses almost invisible.

Hi-Index

Hi Index lenses are thinner and lighter than conventional lenses due to their higher degree of refraction (light bending ability). They are recommended for those people who wish the thinnest, lightest lenses, and for prescriptions greater than +/- 4 Diopters.

Transitional Lenses

Transitional lenses darken upon exposure to the sun and protect the eyes from harmful UV radiation.
